Phenomenal food. First thing I'll say is how perfectly timed the meal was. Not rushed at all. The appetizer didn't come out until our first drinks were finished. The main course didn't appear until the appetizer was cleared. We started with the bruschetta and I can, without a doubt, say it was the best I ever had. I had the champagne chicken for an entree and was blown away. My girlfriend had a ribeye that was also amazing. The drinks were worth the price as well. Service was perfect. The only negative is that the bathroom was not exactly clean. Lots of water everywhere and trash cans overfilling.
This is one of the best restaurants on Michigan West Coast. The deviled eggs are a must! Also love the mussels, but their blueberry cheesecake is the best I've ever had! In the summer it is lovely to sit outside on the river's wdge and watch the sunset. 10/10!!
Thanks to our waiter Seth and the entire staff of the Bluefish. We had a group of 4 people and all of our food was prepared wonderfully we started off with 4 appetizers. Bruschetta , Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs , Smoked Whitefish Cakes , And Bacon Loaded Pierogi . I personally had the 4 ounce Fillet Mignon and it was cooked to perfection
Highly recommend the grilled salmon! Absolutely delicious and beautifully plated. Our server was kind, efficient and happy to wait on us and suggest menu options. It was refreshing to have such a positive, enthusiastic server. I gave the atmosphere 4 stars only because there wasn’t a clear “theme” or vibe. It was somewhat formal, somewhat industrial, and somewhat rustic. That certainly shouldn’t deter you from visiting. Just an observation.
Late in 2018 i contacted the Bluefish Kitchen about using their restaurant for the rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding in June. I couldn't have been more pleased! The manager, Derrick, was so helpful and gracious. The venue made two different rooms available and let me choose which room i preferred for the party of 30. Two waitresses were available the whole time solely to serve us and were so friendly! The 3 entree selections we chose were prepared perfectly in generous portions. Rave reviews from all who attended!! They also allowed me to come earlier in the day to decorate as well as permitting us to bring in our own desserts. If there were 6 stars to give, Bluefish would get them!
Had a great meal at the Bluefish after a failed visit to The Bungalow. Caesar salad was amazing! Grilled chicken had awesome flavor and the dressing was thick, flavorful and made in house! They even have a ‘with anchovies’ option! Alex our server was amazing and did a great job! Drinks were very good and the price was right! I think we found our new Friday ‘night out’ favorite! Well done Blue Fish!
We stopped here on our way home and was pleasantly surprised by one of the best meals we have had in a long time. The dishes tasted better than they looked. The laid back high end atmosphere was only made better by the exceptional service. I can't wait to stop in again the next time we are in town.
The BEST meal I've had in a long time going out to dinner! My husband had the blackened whitefish, I had the walleye with capers and risotto. The service made our experience that much more enjoyable! Our server was Lexie and she was phenomenal! She was very attentive and did an excellent job! Thank you!
